The town of Ciénaga de Oro in Córdoba is known for its important heritage history. The celebration of the “Semana Mayor” is part of the colombian’s cultural heritage. For this celebration the people of Ciénaga have large statues known as “steps”, that represent a number of scenes from the Passion of Jesus. Its cultural value is immensely high, for which an adequate space is necessary for storage, management and exhibition. Therefor the Museum of Cultural Traditions of Ciénaga was designed and then presented to the board of the Holy Week of Ciénaga de Oro and representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.

In order to begin to understand the dimension of the project and what was expected of each space, a study was carried out based on the classification of the exposure levels in each of the atmospheres proposed within the museum.
The categories that were analyzed were:
1. Sunlight
2. How public the space was
3. Relationship with the environment
4. Privacy
Each space was assigned a classification in each of the categories from 1 to 3, where 1 is exposed, 2 is little exposed and 3 is not exposed. In the end, the number of points assigned to each space was added and this score determined the type of atmosphere that was required.
